The 3rd Public is a Stockholm-based artist collective made up of Mav, ERM and Earz. The three met at Helix Gallery and formed the collective the same day. Each work is painted collaboratively by all three artists, live, in third spaces: the streets, squares and in-between places where public life happens. The collective takes its cue from the raw energy of 1980s New York street art.
Their first series, ten works created across five performances, was exhibited in full at HAS Helix Art Space in Stockholm on October 1, 2026.
Within the collective, Mav works as visual artist, photographer and videographer, documenting each performance from first stroke to finished piece. Watch the full process videos on Instagram.
